Through oil painting, I focus on textures, light, people, places, and the moments within movement. Painting is a way of noticing... of observing what may otherwise be overlooked. My professional training as a pharmacist helps me see both detail and a broad view. This applies to both work and art. I paint in the corner of the kitchen in my home in Newmarket which my daughters have amusingly called "mom's office." When I am not painting, I enjoy time with my family, reading, wandering, gardening, and music.
