Join the Newmarket Group of Artist's inaugural Nightmarket, a new outdoor event that will take place in the heart of downtown Newmarket the evening of Friday May 26th. Artists of all mediums are invited to participate in a fun evening that will include food and drink trucks, live music, and an art show & sale. This will be a free public event.

Applications are now open! Artists will be accepted on a first come, first served until art category is full.*

WHEN - Friday May 26th, 2023 from 5pm-10pm (setup starts at 3pm).
WHERE - Riverwalk Commons (downtown Newmarket by the Community Centre)
WHO - All NGA artists are welcome to participate.
COST - The entry fee is only $25 per artist.
Requirements:
  • The work must be handmade. No kits allowed.
  • The artist must provide a 10 x 10 tent.​
  • The artist must provide weights for all tent legs.
  • The artist is responsible for their own insurance​
  • The artist must promote the Night Market via social media or email blast
  • The artist must be present at the show
  • The artist must provide their own tables, chairs & displays
  • ​This is an evening show and might need lights to brighten the booth.  (The town will be providing electrical outlets)
  • Booth sharing is available. The fee is still $25/artist. You must list your booth partner on the application form. They must be an NGA artist. They must in turn fill out their own application form and list you as a booth partner.

*The NGA Nightmarket committee has final say on all applications.
