Mission Statement

The Newmarket Group of Artists (NGA) is a local not-for-profit organization dedicated to enriching Newmarket through the power of art. The NGA’s mission is to foster a vibrant cultural environment, connect local artists with the public, and inspire creativity and collaboration across all generations. Its aim is to create accessible, inclusive experiences that celebrate art, strengthen community ties, and contribute to the cultural vitality of Newmarket.

The NGA’s main objectives are:

To provide an organization for visual artists and those interested in the arts in Newmarket, giving each a voice within the community.
To support and showcase the talents of its diverse membership by organizing events such as the ArtWalk and other community art initiatives.
To encourage a community passion for the arts, and successfully support, partner and collaborate with local businesses and municipal representatives committed to the arts.
