NGA Mission Statement

The Newmarket Group of Artists is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion, recognition and celebration of the arts in Newmarket. Our membership is comprised of artists and art supporters. Our artists work in various endeavours such as water colour, oil and acrylic, mixed media, fine art photography, jewelry, pottery and much more.

Our main objectives are:

To provide an umbrella organization for visual artists in Newmarket, giving them a voice within the community, and fostering a sense of community within the group.
To explore and provide venues for local artists to market their works, thus giving the community and visitors an opportunity to purchase quality items.
To encourage a community passion for the arts, and successfully support, partner and collaborate with local businesses and municipal representatives committed to the arts.
